We were so excited to celebrate some of the amazing work being done in our field! This year's APE organized section awards recognized two exceptional scholars for their incredible contributions to the American Political Economy field:

  1. Best Paper on American Political Economy: Stephanie Ternullo (Harvard)
    • "The Politics of Concentrated Advantage"
    • Committee: Phil Rocco (chair), Jared Clemons, Charlotte Cavaille
  2. Best Dissertation on American Political Economy: Trellace Lawrimore (NYU)
    • “Essays on politics in the historical U.S. south”
    • Committee: Alexander Sahn (chair), Jae Yeon Kim, Timothy Weaver
  3. Emerging Scholar in American Political Economy:  Stephanie Ternullo (Harvard)
    • Committee: Sarah Staszak (chair), Dara Strolovitch, Robert Mickey

Later in the conference, the annual APE reception was busier than ever, featuring both new and familiar faces. The vibrant atmosphere carried over to the CAPE Junior Working Group's gathering, where drinks and great conversations continued long after the APE-reception had ended.
